Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with menu selections to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote specials or new offerings to guests
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation, timing, and guest satisfaction
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables promptly without compromising quality
- Follow food handling protocols and uphold food safety regulations at all times
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly,



and ensuring a positive dining experience

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of the food industry
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms, for order entry and cashiering
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates welcoming atmospheres for guests
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations to ensure compliance and safety
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and transaction processing
- Ability to perform kitchen-related tasks such as basic food preparation when needed
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests
- Experience in hospitality or serving roles that demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a guest-first mindset
