Dave’s Service Centre & Tirecraft, a division of the Powell Group of Companies, is looking for a Service Advisor to join our team in Bay Roberts. This is a great opportunity to join a busy, established service centre while enjoying the stability of a Monday-to-Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule — with no regular evenings or weekends!
As the first point of contact for many of our customers, our Service Advisor plays an important role in creating a excellent customer experience while helping coordinate the day-to-day flow of work through the shop. You’ll work closely with customers, technicians and the rest of our service team to keep everyone informed and ensure work moves smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Greet customers and assist with their automotive and tire service needs
- Schedule service appointments and help coordinate the daily workflow of the shop
- Communicate with technicians regarding repairs,
timelines and customer concerns
- Keep customers updated on the status of their vehicle and explain recommended repairs or maintenance
- Prepare accurate estimates, work orders and customer invoices
- Provide pricing on parts, labour, tires and other services
- Recommend appropriate tires, automotive products, repairs and preventative maintenance based on customer needs
- Process cash, debit and credit card payments
- Maintain customer, service and inventory information using computerized systems
- Assist with inventory and parts-related tasks as required
- Respond to customer questions and help resolve concerns professionally
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products and services we offer
- Support the service team with other related duties as needed
