Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Fabricator (Sheet Metal) to join our team at Milton on the day and afternoon shift (7:00am-4:30pm and 3:30pm – 1:00am). This role is responsible for setting up and operating sheet metal fabrication and forming equipment to cut, bend, shape, form, and finish metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Reads blueprints, performs precise measurements and layouts, assembles and inspects components, performs basic equipment maintenance, and maintains a safe and organized work area.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate a variety of sheet metal fabrication, forming, and machining equipment, including shears, brake presses, forming rolls, tube benders, routers, wheeling machines, and specialized forming tools.
- Cut, bend, form, stretch, shrink, straighten, roll, drill, grind, and otherwise shape sheet metal and extruded metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, sketches, work orders, and customer specifications.
- Measure, mark, and lay out materials using precision measuring instruments, templates, rulers, squares, and other layout tools.
- Use hand and power tools to shape, trim, file, deburr, grind,



polish, and finish metal components.
- Assemble and install components using bolts, rivets, screws, clips, bonding, caulking, welding, and other approved methods.
- Inspect completed components to verify dimensions, quality, and compliance with engineering and customer requirements.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, inspections, and reporting equipment issues.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet quality and production requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

This compensation range will be based on knowledge and experience Compensation: $22.00 per hour
