HM Pipe Products Kitchener is currently looking for a full-time Shipper/Receiver & occasional pick-up driver. This candidate will be required to work in warehouse as well as deliver products to customers and pickup returns/products from vendors.
Responsibilities and duties of the candidate will include (but not limited to):
- Loading and unloading of products
- Providing efficient, on-time and accurate deliveries to customers
- Verifying and confirming proper shipments of incoming and outgoing materials
- Operating a forklift (training will be provided)
- Lifting large and heavy items
- Organizing and arranging products into specific designated areas of the warehouse
- Provide proper organization and cleaning of interior / exterior yard
- Participating in daily inventory control and proper customer order selection
- Local deliveries and pick ups
- Can properly load and secure (straps)
before a delivery
- Communicates with customers in a professional manner and delivers excellent customer service
- Ability to work in a productive manner with little supervision
Qualifications and Experience
- G class license
- Forklift operator certificate is an asset (training can be provided)
- Ability to work during inclement weather
- Have excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as a team environment
- Quick and fast paced learner
- Warehouse experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
