Job Summary
Supervise team members with floor expectations and training and complete audits necessary for department. Support floor with absenteeism, 5S, and organize & support Conveyance routes
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support and supervise all shipping team members; complete safety, process, forklift, and 5S audits daily
- Operate a Forklift and charge/water battery as required
- Contact carriers/couriers/customers and internal department for any shipping issues
- Complete orientation/training; run daily shift meetings and participate in weekly shipping meetings
- Support with overtime coverage by ensuring scheduling and coordination of daily shift rotation
- Audit scanning reports daily; work with team members who are having scanning issues
- Contact customer and create paperwork for live freight, short shipments, or cube outs
- Investigate and complete accident/incident reports and 5P investigations; contact carrier if trailer damaged
- Load and unload trucks as needed and perform computer duties relating to shipping
- Support kaizen program and complete all required leadership courses
- Monitor truck schedules and ensure team is shipping on time
- Endorse Vuteq policies and ensure all team members are compliant
- Complete PFS for daily issues and communicate to coordinator
- Overtime as required

Experience
- Successful candidate should have relevant experience and must be able to work all shifts

Other
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Forklift license (class 4/5 lift truck); license must be from a reputable training company
