Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of goods in and out of our facility, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining smooth warehouse operations. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while supporting the overall efficiency of our distribution process.

Duties

- Safely load and unload shipments using equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Prepare outgoing shipments by accurately picking, packing, and labeling orders in accordance with customer specifications
- Receive incoming inventory, inspect for damages or discrepancies, and document receipt using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems like MRP or AS400
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and updates within warehouse management systems
- Operate order pickers and other warehouse equipment to efficiently fulfill order requirements for e-commerce and distribution channels
- Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit, following company standards and safety guidelines
- Assist in organizing warehouse space for optimal storage,

Skills

- Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or related roles with a focus on order fulfillment and inventory management
- Certification or experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and AS400 systems for inventory control and order processing
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, including order picking, load & unload procedures, and packaging standards
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely
