Position: Shipping Supervisor

Role Description: This full-time, in office Shipping Supervisor role is based at Centura Tile’s Toronto, ON location.

The Shipping

Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on schedule. This role coordinates with warehouse staff to manage pick tickets and branch transfers. The role involves shipping and freight quotes and billing coordination, and responding to internal shipping queries. The role also involves collaborating closely with customer service, sales, and carriers to resolve shipping issues, respond to delivery inquiries,



and maintain high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily shipping activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders.
- Print and adjust pick tickets as required
- Print and adjust branch transfers as required
- Invoice pick tickets and branch transfers
- Obtain shipping and freight quotes
- Prepare Bills of Lading for outbound freight shipments
- Arrange freight pickups through email, phone calls, and online scheduling systems
- Complete freight billing
- File freight Bills of Lading and related documentation
- Respond to internal inquiries through email and phone communication
- Utilize and maintain knowledge of Profit 21 system operations
- Promote the culture of a safe and hazard-free work environment with the team

Qualifications

- Experience in shipping and logistics
- Experience with warehouse management systems and 3PL logistics providers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Knowledge of ERP or Epicor Profit 21 is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
