Duties

- Measure and interpret blueprints to determine siding layout and installation requirements
- Install metal panels, metal cladding, and architectural metal siding according to project specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other construction equipment safely.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary caulking or weatherproofing materials
- Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, saws, and drills to install siding panels efficiently and accurately
- Lift heavy siding materials safely, adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury
- Install various types of siding including vinyl, fiber cement, wood, or composite materials according to project specifications




- Seal joints and edges with caulking to ensure weather resistance and a polished finish
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to follow accurate installation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining safety standards

Qualifications

- Proven experience with construction work, carpentry, or handyman projects preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in siding installation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions accurately
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for weatherproofing exteriors
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
