DLC Greenteam is expanding and looking for reliable and hardworking Snow Removal Labourers / Walkway Shovelers to join our winter team.
At DLC, we provide fast and reliable snow removal services throughout the South West Island. This is a great opportunity to work outdoors, stay active, and be part of a professional and supportive team.
Seasonal Position: November 15 to April 15
About the Position
- Reliable, responsible, and hardworking.
- Comfortable with physically demanding outdoor work.
- Available on-call 24/7 throughout the winter season.
- Positive team player who is willing to help coworkers when needed.
- Able to work in winter weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Be available 24/7 on-call and report on time for shifts, regardless of the day or hour.
- Work alongside two machine operators to clear all walkways at assigned properties.
- Shovel and clear snow from walkways, entrances, and other designated areas.
- Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with clients and coworkers.
- Wear the required company uniform.
- Properly use, maintain, and return all tools and equipment to the DLC yard in a clean and organized condition after each pass.
