CES Energy Solutions is seeking a Software Developer to help build, enhance, and support internal business applications. This role will focus heavily on our Blazor web application and related .NET services, while also supporting integrations, APIs, mobile applications, desktop applications, and selected third-party application customizations.

Responsibilities include:

- Develop, maintain, and enhance custom in-house applications, with a primary focus on Blazor and C#/.NET.
- Build and support web APIs, integrations, and application services.
- Work with the development team and business users to test, troubleshoot, and implement solutions.
- Investigate application issues, identify root causes, and help deliver reliable fixes and improvements.
- Support customizations and integrations involving third-party business applications.
- Participate in source control workflows, testing, documentation, and release activities using up-to-date software development best practices.
- Apply secure, maintainable, and testable coding practices across application development work.
- Other duties as required.

Skills and Experience:

- Two to five years of experience working as a software developer.
- Working knowledge of C#/.NET or a similar object-oriented programming language.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience using source control systems such as Azure DevOps,



GitHub, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, including automated builds, testing, deployments, and release pipelines.
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Assets:

- Experience building web applications with Blazor, Razor, C#, and .NET.
- Experience using or developing web services, including SOAP, REST, WCF, XML, and JSON.
- Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, React, Angular, or other modern web technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009/2012 databases or X++ development.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, especially Finance and Operations, is considered an asset.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Codex to support coding, troubleshooting, and documentation, with strong judgment in validating AI-generated output.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions pipelines for CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
- Experience with mobile application development, including Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android.
