Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for modern applications. The ideal candidate will have strong programming and test automation experience, with the ability to build reliable automation frameworks, identify quality risks, and work closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for web and backend applications.
- Create and execute automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Develop scalable automation solutions using Playwright and other contemporary testing tools.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable test automation code.
- Work closely with developers and QA teams to identify defects and improve overall product quality.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and identify root causes of issues.
- Participate in test planning, test case design, defect management,



and release validation.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
- Contribute to improving testing strategies, frameworks, processes, and overall engineering practices.
- Support performance, reliability, and quality improvements across applications.

Required Skills

- Proven experience as an SDET, Automation Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, or Software Test Engineer.
- Strong programming experience in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright or a comparable modern automation framework.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with API testing and REST services.
- Experience with SQL and database validation.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of software development and testing lifecycle practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
