SOS is a volunteer-based non-profit organization meeting the needs and improving the lives of District 69 residents since 1968. SOS provides more than 20 local programs and services to all ages, including programs that meet basic needs and promote healthy living and social connections.

The Shipper/Receiver transports donations from the loading bay to the pricing/sorting room; operates and assists on the Thrift Shop truck; and sorts, labels, and prices donations.

As an SOS team member, you’ll enjoy:

· 5 days paid BC sick leave.

· 4 paid bonus days off: 1 on your birthday, 2 at Christmas, and 1 at Easter.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Valid Class 5 Driver’s License; able to drive 1 ton cube van.

· Training and/or experience in customer service.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.





· Initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision.

· Physically fit – able to do heavy lifting in a secure manner.

Hours of Work: Part-Time: 21 hours per week, includes weekends

Compensation: $19.00 per hour
