Sourcing Specialist I - - Spécialiste en approvisionnement I

1 Year The Sourcing Specialist I is responsible for work that is less defined in scope and has the understanding and experience to execute business objectives. It is primarily a LOGISTICS role and will report to the LOGISTCS manager. Looking for a recent graduate with a degree in logistics/supply chain/sourcing or equivalent.
Role Summary
Responsible for assisting in the management of end-to-end logistics from manufacturing to distribution warehouse to end customer. Supporting domestic and international transportation, as well as warehousing solutions to overcome operational roadblocks, insuring that internal and external customer requirements are met. These responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Oversee all receiving and shipping operations, and work with warehouse employees to coordinate operations, issues, and solutions
- Driving warehousing process optimization and Lean projects, maintaining a focus on safety and compliance
- Supporting compliant and efficient processes (such as: demo, customs, trade-In, product holds, enterprise resource planning, returns etc.)
- Implementing tools and dashboards for metric visibility, communication, and analysis
- Timely and accurate record keeping, reporting and analysis
- Supporting inventory control including coordinating and communicating shipment activities, delivery,
tracking, support, reverse logistics etc.
- Providing back up to the Demonstration and Evaluation program. and Logistics Manager as needed
- Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures for position are kept up to date and saved in a shared location
- Maintaining and developing relationships with current service providers; Key interface between service providers and Supply Chain
- Work with internal teams to resolve delivery issues to warehouse and customers
- Manage reverse logistics operations and solutions including returns, trade ins and damage
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree; OR a High School diploma/GED and 1-3 years of work experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain management
- Experience in logistics or supply chain operations or solutions
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a rapid-paced changing environment
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment
- Accomplished computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge or experience with Oracle or similar ERP system is preferred
- Experience with Import and Export is preferred
