We’re currently seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our close-knit group. The candidate will provide a mix of In-Person and In-Community Therapy.
As a member of the Wonderspeak Team, you will:
- Conduct assessments for those in need of Speech and Language support
- Develop treatment plans that are client- and family-centered, based on evidence-based practices and clinical expertise
- Liaise with other professionals in the clients’ circle of care
- Engage in continuous learning and skills development
A Successful Candidate will have the following:
- Registered member in good standing with CASLPO, with a Master’s Degree
- 2 years (minimum)
of clinical experience as an SLP
- Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Competency with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices is an asset
- Strong skills in critical thinking, decision-making and analysis
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills with an ability to work independently
- Comfortable working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
