Our warehouse team plays a critical role in every project by ensuring furniture, artwork and accessories are organized, carefully packed and ready to arrive on site in excellent condition.

The Role

We are looking for an organized, dependable and hard-working Staging Warehouse & Packing Assistant to help prepare inventory for upcoming staging projects. This is a hands-on role that combines accessory packing, project preparation and general warehouse support.

The ideal candidate works efficiently, follows plans carefully and has a positive eye for design. You do not need to be an experienced stylist, but you must be able to recognize colours, materials, proportions and overall aesthetic direction when selecting and coordinating staging accessories.

Hours will vary with project demand and may range from approximately 10 to 40 hours per week during peak periods. Because home staging is seasonal, a fixed number of weekly hours cannot be guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities

- Review staging plans and prepare the required accessories, artwork, lamps, textiles and small décor for each project.
- Select appropriate items from the warehouse based on the direction provided by the planner or stylist.
- Pack accessories carefully and efficiently so they arrive on site organized, complete and undamaged.
- Clearly label bins, artwork,



lighting and other project inventory.
- Keep each project order separated and confirm that all planned items have been included before loading.
- Flag missing, damaged or unsuitable inventory before the project leaves the warehouse.
- Receive returned accessories after de-staging and unpack, inspect, clean and return them to their correct warehouse locations.
- Help maintain an organized, clean and safe packing area.
- Restock shelves and ensure inventory is visible, accessible and stored consistently.
- Assist with basic cleaning, steaming, minor preparation and quality checks of staging items.
- Support furniture picking, truck loading and general warehouse tasks when required.
- Handle all furniture, artwork and accessories carefully to reduce breakage and inventory damage.
- Communicate shortages, substitutions and project-readiness concerns to the warehouse lead promptly.
- Help the team meet project deadlines by maintaining a focused, productive pace throughout each shift.

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience in home staging, interiors, visual merchandising, retail, warehousing, order picking or packing is an asset.
- A good eye for colour, style and coordinating decorative items.
- Able to read and follow staging plans, checklists,



labels and written instructions accurately.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to keep multiple project orders separate.
- Reliable, punctual and ready to work at the scheduled start time.
- Proactive and able to stay productive without constant supervision.
- Comfortable accepting direction, asking questions when necessary and working collaboratively with planners, stylists, movers and warehouse team members.
- Able to work efficiently without sacrificing care or accuracy.
- Comfortable being active and on your feet for most of the shift, bending, reaching, using stairs and safely lifting or carrying items up to approximately 40 pounds.
- Available during weekday business hours; shift lengths and weekly schedules will vary according to project demand.
- Reliable transportation to the Fliphaus warehouse is strongly preferred.
