Job Summary

One Step Security is seeking professional, reliable, and vigilant Security Guards to provide static and mobile security services at client properties throughout the GTA.

Ideal Candidate A dependable and professional individual who is alert, customer-service oriented, safety-conscious, and able to remain calm and make sound decisions in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

- Protect clients, properties, employees, visitors, and assets.
- Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned locations.
- Monitor entrances, exits, CCTV, parking areas, and restricted areas.
- Control access and prevent unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, and trespassing.
- Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
- Prepare accurate occurrence and incident reports.
- Communicate professionally with clients, the public, emergency services, and supervisors.
- Follow site-specific procedures, company policies, and applicable laws.




- For mobile positions, conduct scheduled patrols and property inspections using company vehicles.

Qualifications

- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
- Previous security experience is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence for mobile positions.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
- Qualified appearance and conduct.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.
