Join the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority as a Public Health Nurse specializing in Street Connections. This full time position focuses on community health and substance-use harm reduction efforts.

The Public Health

Nurse plays a critical role at WRHA, delivering services to improve health outcomes for marginalized populations, including those affected by substance use. With a preferred background in community development and harm reduction, you will utilize your nursing experience to promote health equity and support vulnerable families in Winnipeg. This position requires in-person engagement and the ability to work in diverse settings. Key Responsibilities:

- Implement harm reduction strategies within the community




- Lead public health initiatives targeting communicable diseases
- Engage with street-involved and lower-income populations
- Promote health education and awareness through workshops
- Document client interactions and outcomes thoroughly Requirements:
- Baccalaureate Nursing Degree necessary
- Current registration with CRNM required
- Two years relevant public health experience preferred
- Valid Manitoba driver’s license essential
- CPR certification in accordance with policy Bring your nursing skills and community focus to enhance public health for diverse groups.
