Attack Sports is one of Alberta’s premier youth athletic development organizations, serving elite junior hockey players, AAA athletes, and multi-sport youth from our facility in Calgary. Our alumni compete at the Jr. A level and beyond. We’re growing and we’re building the team to match. We are hiring a Strength and Conditioning Coach to help deliver high-quality training to our athletes as part of our performance staff.
What You'll Do
- Coach athletes on the floor daily: Hockey players (AAA/Jr. A), multi-sport, and recreational youth
- Deliver S&C; Programming: Off-season, in-season, and return-to-play across all athlete populations
- Apply and help refine coaching standards and session structure set by the performance team
- Support S&C-related; programs such as specialty camps, performance testing days, and remote programming
- Collaborate with hockey operations on sport-specific athlete timelines
Who You Are: You have a magnetic presence on the training floor. You're a strong communicator who builds real rapport with athletes and thrives in a quick-moving, hands-on coaching environment.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor of Kinesiology (or equivalent) PLUS an advanced certification (CSCS, CPPS, CSCCA, or equivalent)
- 3+ years of hands-on S&C; coaching experience
- Proven experience coaching hockey athletes at the junior, AAA, or post-secondary level
- Strong programming knowledge: Periodization, movement screening, athletic development
Strongly Preferred:
- Existing network within Alberta/Western Canadian hockey (Jr. A, WHL, AAA)
- Background with multi-sport and youth athletic populations
