Cameco Fuel Manufacturing, is seeking an ambitious, energetic, quantitatively adept individual with an interest in furthering their knowledge in Industrial Automation and Controls. This is a placement opportunity for a third year Electromechanical Student. The opportunity would provide the successful candidate the prospect to experience working with Senior Technologists and Engineers providing front-line support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position And Responsibilities

- Provide day to day support of the existing manufacturing systems, production loss tracking system, and infrastructure, including but not limited to robotics, HMI/PLC control systems, SCADA, and SQL software and hardware




- Develop algorithms and user interface screens for various processes
- Assist with troubleshooting of electromechanical systems
- Assist with configuration of software to eliminate paper records from the process
- Assist in network design and hardware troubleshooting
- Assist with testing & documentation
- Other duties may be assigned

Education And Qualifications

- Technical aptitude, a hands-on mindset and software proficiency in MS Office and Windows operating systems. Experience in various programming languages would be an asset.
