Overview A new Mr. Sub location is opening soon, and we are looking for friendly, reliable, and motivated Sub Artists to join our opening team. In this role, you will prepare fresh sandwiches and food items in a fast-paced setting while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high food safety and cleanliness standards.

The ideal candidate is efficient, team-oriented, and enjoys working with customers to create a welcoming restaurant experience. This position offers the opportunity to develop valuable skills in food preparation, customer service, and restaurant operations within a dynamic team setting.

Responsibilities

- Prepare sandwiches and other menu items according to company recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems (including Micros POS) to take orders and handle cash transactions accurately
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service while taking and preparing orders
- Manage time effectively to serve customers quickly during busy periods
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures
- Keep the kitchen, prep area,



and service areas including bathroom clean and organized
- Upsell additional menu items to improve the customer experience and increase sales
- Ensure all food is prepared according to health regulations and company quality standards

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or a restaurant environment is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems is an asset
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
