ZS2 Technologies
Calgary
This is a full-time in-office position located in Calgary, Alberta.
About the Role
ZS2 Technologies is hiring a Technical Product Marketing Manager to own how our products are defined, positioned, and understood as they move from innovation into market adoption. This role spans ZS2's full suite of materials and systems across multiple technology readiness levels (TRLs), including new and emerging materials where clarity, differentiation, and trust are critical.
At ZS2, developing a new material is only half the work. The other half is ensuring that its value proposition, differentiation, and real-world relevance are clearly articulated and grounded in technical truth. This role exists to bridge that gap.
The Technical Product Marketing Manager combines technical depth with product marketing instinct. You will translate material science, testing data, and performance characteristics into transparent product narratives that answer the market's real questions: Why does this matter? How is it different? Where does it fit? What problem does it solve better than alternatives?
You will connect R&D;, marketing, and technical sales — using testing and certification data to keep the story grounded in fact. This includes framing how new materials compete and are responsibly differentiated for the architects, engineers, and specifiers evaluating them.
This is not a pure R&D; role and not a traditional marketing role. It is a technical product leadership role with a strong market lens, designed to ensure that innovation translates into trusted, differentiated products the market can confidently adopt.
About ZS2 Technologies | Who We Are
ZS2 is leveraging material science and construction technology to cement a more sustainable and resilient future for the built environment. As a leader in magnesium cement (MgO) technology, we are innovating both its production and applications to decarbonize the construction industry.
Based in Calgary, Alberta, we are scaling sustainable technology into action with high-performance building materials, powering industry-leading projects and partnerships across North America.
The Opportunity
As ZS2 scales its product portfolio and accelerates commercialization, this role plays a critical part in de-risking adoption and protecting brand trust — ensuring that product claims, positioning, and technical documentation are aligned with reality, backed by data, and presented in a way that supports confident decision-making by architects, engineers, builders, partners, insurers, and regulators.
