Duties
- Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Conduct thorough inspections of tires for wear, damage, and safety issues
- Assist customers by providing expert advice on tire selection, maintenance needs, and sales opportunities
- Perform heavy lifting of tires and related equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety standards are met at all times
- Support vehicle maintenance tasks as needed to assist mechanics and other team members
- Document all services performed accurately in the system and communicate findings clearly to customers
Skills
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures and tire-specific repairs
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers
