Tire Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and a strong commitment to customer service. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of tires for various vehicles, ensuring safety and performance standards are met. This role requires proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting. Must have G license.

Duties

- Install, balance, and rotate tires on vehicles.
- Inspect tires for wear and damage, providing recommendations for replacements or repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of tire services performed.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Assist customers with tire-related inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure productive workflow in the shop.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform additional automotive repair tasks as needed.





Experience

- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair shop is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with tire installation techniques and safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with various tools.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during tire installation and maintenance tasks.
- Experience in sales related to automotive products is a plus.
