We are seeking a motivated and independable Towing Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring timely recovery and delivery of vehicles in various situations. Your mechanical knowledge and automotive repair skills will be essential in troubleshooting minor issues and maintaining the operational readiness of your towing equipment.

Duties
- Operate towing trucks efficiently to recover, transport, and deliver vehicles across different locations.
- Assist customers with vehicle breakdowns or accidents, providing courteous and professional service.
- Conduct routine inspections of towing equipment, including hydraulic systems, winches, and safety devices, ensuring all tools are in optimal condition.
- Utilize forklift skills when necessary to handle vehicle loading or unloading in complex scenarios.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or diagnostics to address minor mechanical issues encountered during operations.
- Maintain detailed logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and customer interactions for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure protected operations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot automotive issues effectively.
- Experience with commercial driving, particularly operating large towing trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and skilled demeanor.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely when required for vehicle handling tasks.
- Basic automotive repair skills to perform minor repairs or diagnostics as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
