Matrec, part of GFL, is seeking a dedicated Tractor Driver for its Moose Creek facility. Engage in essential maintenance and operations for optimal productivity in a permanent, full time role. As a Tractor Driver, you will collaborate closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Operations Manager to ensure the efficiency of our compost facility operations.

Your key responsibilities include daily inspections, maintenance checks, and operating heavy machinery while adhering to safety protocols. We prioritize safety and teamwork to enhance service delivery across our operations. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct daily inspection and maintenance of heavy equipment
- Operate and steer tractor equipment on assigned site
- Replace operators as necessary to maintain workflow
- Clean equipment tracks and gears daily
- Communicate work priorities via two-way radio

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to wear mandatory personal protective equipment
- Strong communication skills in a team environment
- Willingness to report safety issues promptly
