Our client, a leading Canadian host travel agency supporting home-based travel professionals, is seeking a positive and highly organized Talent Development Coordinator. This person will help recruit, onboard, train and support new-to-travel advisors as they begin building their businesses.
This is a fully remote opportunity for someone located in Alberta or British Columbia who enjoys building relationships, creating welcoming experiences and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting recruitment activities and candidate communications
- Conducting introductory calls with prospective new-to-travel advisors
- Guiding new advisors through onboarding
- Assisting with the company’s learning platform, email and internal systems
- Coordinating training programs and live webinars
- Working with travel suppliers to organize Training Week schedules and calendar invitations
- Maintaining spreadsheets, tracking tools and administrative records
- Supporting departmental projects as priorities evolve
- Responding promptly to advisors and members of the Talent Development team
- Participating in occasional evening meetings or calls
What we’re looking for:
- 1–3 years of travel industry experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
- A positive, adaptable and people-focused approach
- The ability to manage changing priorities and multiple moving pieces
- A genuine passion for travel and helping others succeed
- A Travel and Tourism or Business Administration diploma is considered an asset
