Our team is a network of empowered individuals with a strong sense of themselves and the hospitality industry. Facilitate a number of Accor and Property Training Programs to colleagues and leaders, including Train the Trainer, Interaction Management, Leadership Orientation, and other courses to promote development and enhance on-the-job skills Work with the Director, People & Culture and the Hotel Leadership Team to evaluate the annual Learning & Development strategies and programming for the hotel Work closely with the Director People & Culture to determine need for new workshops and training programs; aid in the creation and facilitation of these programs Create strong interpersonal relationships that allow for coaching and guidance to supports both leaders and colleague and maintain high levels of engagement in all areas of the Hotel Work with operational department leaders to review all Departmental Job Task Checklists and ensure that the tools are in place for successful departmental onboarding and training; Maintain accurate records of all training activities and participant information; Oversee the colleague performance review program to ensure proper completion of probationary and annual reviews for all colleagues Utilize an online training system to assign mandatory courses to colleagues and leaders, monitor progress,
and track completion Collaborate with Learning & Development Managers in the Region with regular monthly calls to align a regional strategic direction Support with the overall People & Culture operations, other departmental functions, and other duties and travel as required/assigned Previous L&D; experience is an asset. University degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or related discipline a strong asset Proven track record in needs assessment and facilitation of training programs in driving service excellence results Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Microsoft teams, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, and Word) required Results orientated with the ability to be flexible and to work well under pressure Innovative, creative and willing to take risks and be accountable for successes, near misses and the inevitable, misses!
