Join our dynamic logistics team as a Truck Dispatcher, where you'll play a vital role in coordinating freight movement and ensuring smooth operations across our supply chain network. As a key connector between drivers, clients, and warehouse teams, you’ll be at the heart of our transportation management operations, driving success every day.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate and dispatch drivers for daily deliveries and pickups
- Plan effective routes and schedules
- Communicate with drivers throughout their shifts
- Coordinate delivery times with customers
- Monitor shipments and ensure deliveries are completed on schedule
- Handle delays, route changes, and other delivery issues
- Provide drivers with necessary instructions and information
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and driver activities
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery updates
- Ensure drivers follow company procedures and safety requirements




- Work closely with management and other team members to keep operations running smoothly
- Respond quickly to unexpected issues and find practical solutions

Experience

- Minimum 3 years experience in truck dispatching or transportation/logistics
- Knowledge of trucking operations and delivery procedures
- Experience coordinating drivers, routes, and schedules
- Strong communication skills with drivers
- Can speak, understand and write transparent English
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Experience with freight coordination and shipment tracking
- Experience tracking containers with CN and CP Railways
- Ability to solve problems quickly and make decisions under pressure
