Duties

- Safely operate heavy trucks to transport goods between distribution centers, clients, and other destinations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload cargo with proper handling techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any issues during transit
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols,



and company policies to ensure secure deliveries
- Assist with securing loads and performing routine maintenance checks on the vehicle

Requirements

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle operated
- Proven experience driving large trucks or similar heavy vehicles
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
- Robust knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and physical demands of loading/unloading tasks
- Transparent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients
