Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various destinations while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, and efficient route management to support our company's operational goals.

Duties

- Operate commercial trucks to deliver freight across designated routes, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal truck performance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and compliance with company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen delays
- Assist in warehouse operations including freight handling, inventory management, and equipment operation when required




- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a protected working environment

Skills

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other industrial machinery
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards for transportation
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently for timely deliveries
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Prior experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, or automotive repair is highly desirable
