Primary Responsibilities

- Flexible to work weekends and holidays
- Loading and unloading trucks, able to carry heavy items (50lbs)
- Completing a daily truck log and submitting mileage reports
- Conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting any problems
- Complying with company and government regulations and rules
- Securing cargo
- Performing emergency repairs like patching tires when needed

Qualifications

- Must hold a valid BC Class 5 driver’s license. No commercial driver’s license is required.
- An outstanding driving record without accidents or major traffic violations
- Years of truck driving experience
- Planning and organization
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions, troubleshoot equipment, and find current routes when needed
