Building a mining company takes good people: people who know their profession, understand mining, and are willing to roll up their sleeves and help get the work done. We’re looking for a Geology Technologist or GIT to join our team, with an assignment supporting projects and production at Levack Mine. Perform underground face mapping and sampling in active development and production headings. ~ Support short-term ore control and stope delineation. ~ Maintain sample chain of custody and accurate database records. ~ Follow QA/QC procedures to maintain sample integrity and data quality. ~ Record geological data using standardized digital tools, geological databases, and GIS software. ~ Update underground maps and geological models in collaboration with Geologists. ~ Assist with ore reconciliation and provide geological input to mine planning.

Have post-secondary education in Geological Technology or a related field.



~ Bring 3+ years of mine geology or geological technology experience. ~ Have knowledge of geological modelling software such as Datamine. ~ Understand underground mining methods, regulations, and safety practices. ~ Are comfortable working with documents, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and email. ~ Communicate effectively and work well with site teams.
