Job Summary

Sikhi Maarag school in Mississauga (Malton) is looking for a dedicated and reliable Class B or Class E licensed school-bus driver for a Monday–Friday student transportation route and ensure the protected, reliable, and friendly transportation of young students to and from school and related activities. School: 2960 Drew Road, Mississauga

Students: West & Central Brampton

Morning: First pickup no earlier than 7:00 AM; students must arrive at school by 9:00 AM

Afternoon: Pickup from school at 2:50 PM

Schedule: Monday–Friday, split shift

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a mini school bus along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
- Assist children with boarding and exiting the bus, ensuring proper supervision and safety protocols are followed
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, conducting regular inspections for mechanical issues or safety hazards
- Communicate effectively with parents, and school staff to coordinate schedules and address concerns




- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for students and their families
- Follow all safety procedures during emergency situations or incidents, including reporting any issues promptly
- Keep accurate records of routes traveled and student attendance

Requirements

- Valid Ontario Class B or Class E licence
- School bus driver qualifications/endorsements as required
- Clean driver's abstract
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Reliable and punctual
- Experience transporting children preferred
- Proven experience working with children or in educational settings preferred
- Solid communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and school personnel
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues
