We are seeking Utility Operators with a solid background operating mid to large sized loaders equipped with grapple and jib attachments. Essential Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment in accordance with project requirements and Ledcor safety standards
- Operate: Loaders (Komatsu WA380/380, John Deere 744/844, CAT 980/988); Dozers (D6 / D8); Excavators (80T and under) ; Graders (14M)
- Perform utility and material-handling work
- Complete pre-trip inspections and daily equipment reports
- Maintain a high level of awareness around workers, equipment, structures, and other site hazards.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating loaders equipped with grapple and jib attachments; dozers and excavators
- Experience operating graders is considered an asset
- Experience using GPS machine control systems is preferred
- Ability to operate equipment with precision and good spatial awareness.
- Dependable, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a crew
Work Conditions
- 14 days on, 14 days off, working 12 hours per day
- Camp accommodations provided
- Charter flights provided from Edmonton and Calgary
