Summary Volunteer position that is based remotely, attend monthly meetings between September to May. Minimum one year commitment requested. Should be comfortable using excel and outlook.

About This Opportunity
- Makes sure all monies paid to the Society are deposited in a chartered bank, treasury branch or trust company chosen by the Board
- Makes sure a detailed account of revenues and expenditures is presented to the Board as requested;
- Makes sure an audited statement of the financial position of the Society is prepared and presented to the Annual General Meeting;
- Files the annual return, changes in the directors of the organization, amendments in the bylaws and other incorporating documents with the Corporate Registry;
- Chairs the Audit Committee of the Board; Is a member of the Executive Committee; and Carries out other duties assigned by the Board.
- Picks up the mail at our rural mailbox every 1-2 months.
- This is a board position so this individual would need to attend 1 to 3 board meetings per year and participate in board decisions as they come up.
