Duties

- Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods safely and efficiently
- Manage warehouse distribution tasks such as order fulfillment, picking, packing, and shipping & receiving with precision
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 software to track inventory levels, process orders, and update records accurately
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of products to prepare items for shipment or storage while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist in construction-related tasks or manufacturing processes as needed to support warehouse operations




- Ensure proper packaging of products for shipment to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment to promote safety and operational efficiency

Experience

- Proven warehouse experience with a solid understanding of warehouse distribution processes
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and other machinery used in logistics environments
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 software for inventory control and order processing
- Experience in shipping & receiving operations, including load & unload procedures and documentation accuracy
- Construction or manufacturing experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across different operational settings
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during order picking and fulfillment tasks
