We’re looking for an energetic, reliable Warehouse Assistant / Delivery Driver to keep our warehouse running smoothly and get orders to customers on time. You’ll be a key part of a small, hands-on team that moves the products that power security and low-voltage installations every day.
Duties
- Safely load, unload, and organize goods within the warehouse using proper moving techniques and equipment.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, utilizing proper techniques to prevent injury while handling goods of various sizes and weights.
- Prepare delivery orders accurately, ensuring all items are correctly packed and documented for shipment.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before each trip to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Drive company vehicle to deliver products to customers efficiently and on time, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and maintaining organized storage areas.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate deliveries, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license (or provincial equivalent).
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks regularly throughout the workday.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and delivery documentation.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
