Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Water & Sewer Topman to lead and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of water and sewer infrastructure. This vital role involves managing heavy equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and coordinating with team members to deliver reliable utility services. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with various tools and machinery, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

- Have Experience in the Topman role - No Training to fit the position
- Be reliable , We have year round deep service work. This year round position needs to be earned
- Show up everyday with a good attitude and ready to work
- Lead the operation of heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and rigging tools to excavate trenches and install or repair water and sewer lines
- Oversee the safe handling and use of power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and electrical devices during project execution
- Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow while adhering to safety standards and regulations




- Ensure all work sites are organized, clean, and compliant with safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, rigging techniques, and safety gear
- Experience with bucket operation for lifting materials or personnel safely at heights
- Knowledge of pipe installation techniques, and sewer infrastructure is required
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, or blueprints related to water/sewer projects
- Valid certifications in heavy equipment operation; additional certifications in welding or electrical work are a plus
