Ever wondered what it would be like to work at a local craft winery and cider house? Georgian Hills Vineyards is a VQA-certified small craft producer of wines and ciders grown locally in the Beaver Valley, Blue Mountains. We are one of the original pioneers to plant test sites in the emerging wine region of Georgian Bay and are on a mission to share our “very cool” cool climate wines with visiting wine lovers!

We are also home to Ardiel Cider House and make all our ciders from local apples and pears grown here in the Beaver Valley most of them from the Ardiel family orchards.

About the job opportunity:

We are looking for enthusiastic, service-oriented individuals to join our energetic hospitality team. This position is available in a part-time capacity. The role includes numerous outdoor and indoor duties: indoor and patio wine and table service, wine and cider retail sales,



as well as catering to private groups and tourism groups interested in learning more about our wines and this wonderful emerging wine region. There is also an opportunity to work after-hours private events.

Every day will be different, and you'll be joining a fun, tight-knit team who shares their love of promoting local wine and cider!

We anticipate this position to provide 16-30 hours per week, depending on business volumes.

Responsibilities:

· Wow guests with your friendly demeanor and knowledge regarding our wine and cider portfolio and food offerings.

· Engage guests with indoor & outdoor wine and food service, featuring a rotating menu paired perfectly with our extensive portfolio of wines & ciders

. Tell the story about the unique attributes of the vineyard, our region, and other local destinations

· Accountable for cash handling and transactions in the POS machine

· General maintenance of the Retail Store including stocking shelves, routine cleaning, tidying

· Must have Smart Serve Certification and uphold the standards laid out in our training

· Must be available to work weekends & holidays.

· Must be able to lift 35-50lbs on a regular basis.
