- Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required
- Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways
- Assist with labourer duties including crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, and hazard remediation
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Perform winter seasonal road maintenance from October 1st to April 30th
- Respond to varying weather patterns through shift work, on-call, and night shift availability
- Potential for year-round employment
Requirements
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Class 1, 2 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement
- Clear 3-year driver’s abstract
- Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a robust asset; training provided
- Ability to work shift work, on-call, and night shifts as required
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
