Experienced Woodworker

Hollis+ Morris is a contemporary furniture and lighting design firm. Based in Toronto and having debuted 10 years ago, hollis+ morris is rapidly expanding. With clients such as Facebook, Nobu, Amazon, Vice Magazine, and Google, the company is quickly gaining recognition in the global market.

hollis+ morris is a small team with big aspirations to grow fast and have fun while doing it. The fast paced environment requires a jack-of-all-trades who’s self-motivated and willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Ideally from a fine furniture, cabinetry, or millwork background.

We are looking to hire an intermediate woodworker with existing skills, that will be versatile and able to tackle various woodworking and shop related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

- Sanding/Finishings
- Crating and prepping product for shipping




- Fabrication and assembly of furniture and lighting fixtures
- Familiar with breakout processing of raw material
- General maintenance and upkeep of the shop

- Strong Organization Skill
- Able to maintain production flow
- Able to follow and read Shop Drawings
- High Attention to fine detail

Experience Required · 1-3 Years woodworking experience

· Similar skill set to cabinetry or millwork

· Familiar with Jointer, Thickness Planer, Table Saws, Router

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
