Become a Youth & Family Support Counsellor at Wood's Homes, providing essential mental health services to children and families. This role emphasizes therapeutic interventions in a cooperative and structured setting. As a part of the not-for-profit Wood's Homes in Calgary, you will work on a varied shift schedule that supports 24/7 care for youth.

The Youth and Family Counsellor's role encompasses individualized case management, routine establishment, and goal-oriented engagement. You will also connect youth to cultural and spiritual resources, creating a holistic support framework for their development. Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate therapeutic interventions tailored for youth and families
- Establish and maintain a structured therapeutic environment




- Teach essential life skills, routines, and hygiene
- Collaboratively develop care plans with team members
- Utilize TCI techniques to manage crises safely

Requirements:

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Diploma or degree in relevant fields with 2-4 years experience
- Experience with vulnerable populations desired
