Duties
- Operate the Zamboni or similar ice resurfacing equipment to groom and maintain ice surfaces efficiently and safely
- Conduct routine inspections of the ice surface for debris, cracks, or irregularities, ensuring optimal skating conditions
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of the resurfacing equipment to ensure peak performance
- Follow established safety procedures during equipment operation and ice maintenance activities
- Assist with setting up and breaking down event-specific equipment on the ice as needed
- Collaborate with facility staff to coordinate resurfacing schedules that align with event timelines

equipment usage, and safety checks
Requirements
- Prior custodial experience or background in cleaning and maintenance is highly preferred
- Experience with commercial cleaning or operating specialized cleaning machinery is a plus
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and responsibly in a quick-paced workplace
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and cleanliness protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Willingness to learn proper operation of ice resurfacing equipment and safety procedures
