Job description: Propane Delivery Driver – Based out of Lacombe & Grande Prairie, AB Company: Lakeview Propane Job Type: Full time / Seasonal Location: Alberta About Us Lakeview Propane is gearing up for the winter season and expanding our team! With strategically placed storage vessels throughout the Western Canadian basins, we’re equipped to serve our current and future clients for years to come. We’re currently seeking experienced Class 1 and 3 (Provincial and Federal) Propane Delivery Drivers to join our growing operations in Alberta and British Columbia. What We Offer • Competitive wages • Daily tax-free subsistence • Benefits available for seasonal employees • Dedicated truck (no sharing between drivers) • One on one training from experienced operator's • Starlink in all trucks • Opportunities for long-term employment Responsibilities • Safely transport and deliver propane to customers in rural and industrial areas • Operate Class 1 tractor or class 3 body job units and maintain assigned equipment • Perform pre and post-trip inspections and follow company safety procedures • Record hours and deliveries electronically • Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers • Visually inspect and document work sites from each delivery site Requirements • Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license • Current 5-year Driver’s Abstract • Previous propane hauling or delivery experience (preferred) • Knowledge of Alberta’s back roads (asset) • Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test – Zero Tolerance Policy • Valid First Aid, H2S Alive, and Common Safety Orientation (CSO) certifications (asset) we will provide if needed • Ability to work days and night shifts as required • Must be fluent in English (spoken and written) • Own cell phone with data and reliable vehicle for transportation to the shops • Computer literate – time is tracked electronically Additional Details • This role involves significant travel; drivers must be willing to sleep in the truck’s sleeper berth for extended periods. • Due to the seasonal nature of propane delivery, schedules vary — time off can be arranged upon request.
