OverviewIntermediate Electrical Engineer - Mining, Minerals and Metals. This role provides electrical engineering services on small to medium projects for the Electrical discipline and interfaces with the customer and project team.ResponsibilitiesDeliver electrical engineering services that meet Worley, its customers, and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.Perform electrical engineering services such as:identify and report changes to project scopeassist with the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets, and schedulesprovide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities, e.G., write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orderscontribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actionsassist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reportsKeep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in electrical engineeringCommunicate effectively with the electrical engineering team, GID (Global Integrated Delivery) team and project stakeholders, including the customerIdentify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions,



and ask for assistance when requiredAbility to interpret client specificationsCoordinate/Communicate with other disciplinesFamiliarity with applicable codes and Mining standards to support engineering deliverablesQuality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Worley Quality Assurance systemWhat You Will BringTechnical and Industry Experience: Several years of MMM experience, progressively growing within your disciplineExperience in Minerals and Metals industry necessarySurface and Underground mining experience including shaft sinking, subsurface utilitiesPrevious site experience will be an assetSound technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customersA working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of electrical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fieldsA working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specificationsCompetent use of electrical engineering specific software and relevant software such as MS Office SuiteEngineering experience in the same or similar industryTeam player, with excellent organizational, communication, time management, and problem-solving skillsEducation – Qualifications, Accreditation, TrainingUniversity graduate in Electrical Engineering or Applied ScienceP.
