Position Title Senior Supervisor, Supply Chain

Reporting Reports to the Supply Chain Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Accountable for developing, implementing, and managing the 1-2-year materials management plan and delivering the agreed results. This includes adapting departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.

Accountable to develop and manage a high-performance team, delegating them appropriate deliverables and holding them accountable for delivery.

Develop warehouse operations systems (ERP) by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.

Responsible for the development and delivery of relevant KPI’s and reporting to measure and improve site supply chain performance.

Accountable to build organizational alignment to create site efficiencies (e.g., positions, accountabilities and authorities, people, deliverables, tasks).

Assist in the development,



implementation and management of the Supply Chain budget associated with inventory.

Provide input on industry standards, best practices, and guidelines, when relevant.

Any other duties as assigned by the department manager.

Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge of supply chain principles and industry best practices.

Ability to work effectively within budget guidelines and meet required deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong computer skills, including extensive knowledge with SAP or other ERP platforms.

Education and Experience

Post-secondary education in Business, Supply and Logistics, or a related field.

Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Supply Chain Management and Leadership experience.

Experience working at remote mine sites, including ice-road operations.

Experience with underground mining and mobile equipment.

Experience in procurement and contract management is preferred.

Working Conditions This position has a schedule of 4 days on, 3 days off at our remote camp which requires flight-in fly-out with pickup points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert and La Ronge. Drug and alcohol substance testing is a requirement for all positions.
