This is a full-time position for a mechanically inclined professional who thrives working independently, takes pride in quality workmanship, and enjoys solving problems in a remote workplace.What you will do...Develop and maintain a consistent schedule of performing preventative maintenance of all Herc owned fleet at long term customer job sitesOversee and conduct oil changes, lubrication of equipment, tire replacements, hose repairs, battery replacements and assorted servicesDiagnose and repair heavy equipment as required to ensure proper operating condition at the job siteDiagnose and troubleshoot fuel systems, electrical systems,



hydraulic systems and propane systemsRecondition and replace assorted parts to return equipment to a safely functioning stateEducating customers on proper use of equipment to avoid future breakdownsAnalyze problem areas for any significant wear or tear and address to ensure proper usage of the equipment until your next scheduled visitAdhere to all safety guidelines posted at active jobsite where repairs and maintenance are completedMaintain work area on jobsite in a clean and organized mannerProduce timely and detailed service reports and repair logsFollow all company's filed procedures and protocolsBuild positive relationships with customersPerform additional duties as assignedSkillsAbility to work constructively under pressure.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrates initiative and strong organizational skills.Exceptional communication skills while maintaining a professional customer service focused attitude.RequirementsMust have Journeyman Mechanic (Off Road) Certificate or Red Seal in HET.Ability to pass a Federal Criminal Background checkAt least 3-years' hands on experience working on Aerial Equipment and Generators.Valid Class 5 license.A clean and recent driver's abstract will be required.All employment is contingent on successful completion of drug and alcohol screening.According to site regulations,
