Reporting directly to the Site Engineering Manager, this individual will be responsible for conducting advanced finite element analysis to evaluate the structural integrity and seal performance of pressure vessel components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to perform simulations and technical reporting with minimal supervision. This is a non-supervisory technical role, ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex mechanical problems through precision modeling and data-driven insight.ResponsibilitiesServe as the technical authority for all Finite Element Analysis (FEA) activities,

with a strong background in mechanical or structural design.At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) related to product development in applicable sectors.Bachelor's degree (BEng or BSc) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.Must hold a valid P.Eng designation (Professional Engineer) in a Canadian province.Strong working knowledge of industry standards including ASME Section VIII, API, NORSOK, and DNV.Proficiency in ANSYS and SolidWorks is required; experience with Caesar II is considered an asset.Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.Demonstrated experience in cradle-to-grave product development, from concept through to final release and support.Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.Experience designing nuclear equipment is preferred.EEO StatementThe Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
