We are looking for people ready to share, build, and grow with our company.Main AccountabilitiesPreventive Maintenance ExecutionPerform scheduled PM services in accordance with OEM, site standards, and maintenance intervalsComplete full-service tasks including engine oil and filter changes, hydraulic, transmission, and differential servicing, full equipment greasing to manufacturer specificationFollow detailed PM checklists to ensure no steps are missed and all components are serviced correctlyVerify correct fluids, lubricants, and filter types are used for each unit and applicationMaintain cleanliness during servicing to prevent contamination of systemsInspect and service hard-to-reach and critical lubrication points, ensuring full coverageConfirm equipment is safe and properly isolated prior to starting work (LOTO where required)Ensure all guarding, caps, and fittings are properly reinstalled after serviceConduct post‑service checks: verify fluid levels, check for leaks, confirm equipment readiness for return to serviceCoordinate with operations to minimize downtime and ensure efficient service executionWork effectively in remote and extreme cold conditions, maintaining quality under pressureTake ownership of PM quality, not just completion,



but doing it right the first timeInspections & Defect IdentificationConduct detailed visual and functional inspections during servicingIdentify and report oil leaks, structural cracks, abnormal wear, loose, damaged or missing components, and early signs of failure (heat, vibration, unusual noise)Raise accurate work orders with clear defect descriptionsCommunicate findings to supervisors and planners for timely repair schedulingFluid Management & SamplingPerform oil sampling (engine, hydraulic, powertrain) as per site programEnsure proper labeling, contamination control, and submissionMonitor fluid conditions and elevate abnormal resultsComponent ServicingReplace and service oil, fuel, air, and hydraulic filters, breathers, strainers, and basic service componentsAssist mechanics with minor maintenance activities when requiredDocumentation & SystemsAccurately complete work orders and PM checklistsSubmit inspection reportsUtilize maintenance systems (e.G., VIMS, SIS, or site tracking tools)Ensure all work is recorded clearly for traceability and planningSafety & ComplianceComplete and follow FLRA requirements prior to all tasksAdhere to all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), working around operating equipment, cold weather safety protocols, and maintaining strong housekeeping standards in all work areasFollow through on identified hazards and fulfill FLRA commitmentsEquipment ScopeWork Is Performed On Heavy Mobile Mining Equipment, IncludingHaul trucks (e.G., 793 series)Loaders (e.G., 988, 992, 994)Dozers (e.G., D10)Excavators, graders, and support equipmentMain QualificationsExperience in heavy equipment lubrication or maintenance preferredBasic mechanical knowledge of diesel and hydraulic systemsAbility to work independently in remote environmentsValid driver’s licenseKey Performance Expectations100% PM compliance (on‑time and complete)Early defect identification to reduce unplanned downtimeHigh‑quality workmanship with minimal reworkPositive contribution to fleet availability targetsZero safety incidents and full procedural complianceJob LocationMary River Mine Site, NU, Canada#J-18808-Ljbffr
