And your impact is lasting.About The RoleReporting to the Operations Director the Senior Project Manager is an experienced construction professional who will manage all aspects of project financials, costing, safety, quality, subcontracting, labour, and equipment. The successful candidate is a team-builder with broad spectrum talent that allows for the management of key relationships from client to the project team, external stakeholders, and field supervision.As a Senior Project Manager at Graham, you will:Ensure preparation, implementation, and administration of Safety and Environmental program on the project in conjunction with Safety expertise groupEnsure maintenance and administration of the cost reporting system for all project components in Graham Toolbox SystemPrepare and monitor the project master schedule in conjunction with the Project Management teamEnsure coordination and administration of drawings, drawing records,
and revisionsEnsure coordination and administration of site instructions and change order processEnsure written documentation for all verbal clarifications and instructions are obtained and distributed to project stakeholders as applicableEnsure that daily, weekly, and monthly labour, equipment, material, and sub trade costs are administered and reviewed on a regular basisDemonstrate superior leadership skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, solve problems, and motivate othersDemonstrate strategic focus and lead the team with a compelling vision towards project completionDemonstrate expert knowledge of what it takes to build strong technical proficiency in construction, and a deep understanding of the business of constructionAccess and leverage the expertise of others to both solve problems and maximize project efficienciesQualifications/Experience:Minimum of 8 years of direct experience required. Depending upon the project size, scope, and complexity, the years of experience may varyTechnical trade certificate is a minimum requirement; Technical Diploma or a Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business,
or a related field is preferredBusiness Leadership Training -20 hours (Graham Foundations of Leadership or University Leadership course or Major approved certificate course)Extensive knowledge in construction methods, project management processes, and Graham systemsDemonstrated ability to lead and manage a high level 2 / low level 3 project or multiple level 2 projectsAbility to train project staff in all aspects of project requirementsProficiency with MS Office SuiteThe majority of work is completed on job sites in an office trailer or in an existing in office structure.
